Eat miso soup and seaweed.

That's what the Japanese in Hiroshima & Nagasaki discovered. Those who ate the traditional diet, including daily intake of miso and various seaweeds were much more likely to survive and recover from radiation sickness. I know one fellow who, as a boy, was in Hiroshima when the bomb hit. He said the traditional diet and his faith are what pulled him through.

Miso is a live culture that stores well. Seaweed, being dried, lasts a long, long time.

Miso supports healthy intestinal bacteria. Seaweed has a wide array of vitamins and minerals in a form which can be absorbed easily by the body.
